10 year old fractious cat with a history of requiring sedation for any procedure. 0.2 mg/kg nalbuphine was combined with 0.005 mg/kg medetomidine and administered IM in the epaxial musculature. This video was taken 15 minutes post injection. The sedation was judged to be the same quality as the patient's prior event at which time 0.2 mg/kg butorphanol was combined with the same 0.005 mg/kg medetomidine. |
