  Nalbuphine + (Dex)Medetomidine + Midazolam
  3 year old spayed female dog
   
 

  

Sedative/analgesic combination of 0.4 mg/kg nalbuphine, 0.010 mg/kg medetomidine, and 0.2 mg/kg midazolam given IM in the epaxial musculature. Time to peak effect was about 30 minutes presumably due to the very excited nature of the patient.

No atipamzole antagonist administered. The patient was ambulatory and BAR 90 minutes from initial sedative injection.
